Great Lakes Sampler

Sample what Canada and the United States has to offer in this unique program. Your tour begins in Toronto, a city of friendly faces and great sights where you will enjoy a welcome dinner atop the city at the CN Tower 360 Revolving Restaurant.

Next, visit Niagara Falls, a name that evokes as many different images in the memories of its visitors as there are colour variations in its famous rainbow. Additional stops include Niagara-on-the-Lake, awarded the “Prettiest Town in Canada” title in the 1996 Communities in Bloom competition. The tour then takes you to Tobermory, where you depart on the Chi-Cheemaun Ferry for the crossing to Manitoulin Island and then to Sault Ste. Marie. Enjoy a picnic lunch and full-day excursion aboard the Agawa Canyon Train Tour. The following morning, take a hydro-jet ferry from St. Ignace to Mackinac Island, home of the Grand Hotel, one of the few Victorian hotels that has managed to keep its 19th century charm. On Mackinac Island, enjoy a leisurely and luxurious pace where horse-drawn carriage is the mode of transportation. Finally, stop off in Dearborn, Michigan where you will enjoy an afternoon visit at the Henry Ford Museum before heading home. This is the perfect “Great Lakes sampler.”

Best of Toronto & Chicago

Great Cities, Great Lakes, Great Views!

Experience the best these two world-class cities have to offer. With impressive skylines soaring over sparkling fresh water lakes and featuring two of the world’s tallest buildings, these cosmopolitan destinations offer visitors world-class galleries, museums, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment.

Come visit Toronto, “the world’s most cosmopolitan and multicultural city.” Toronto is a booming metropolis, sporting incredible attractions and entertainment while offering all the virtues of a clean, safe, and neighbourly small town. With more than 5,000 restaurant; more art galleries than Chicago and Los Angeles combined; more than 50 theatre productions each month; abundant shopping and entertainment; one of the safest public transportation systems in the world; and the world’s tallest free-standing building, the CN Tower; there are lots of things to see and do in Toronto.

Chicago offers a rich mix of culture, shopping, dining, entertainment, sporting events, sightseeing, and leisure-time activities. Chicago and its suburbs are among the world’s most impressive outdoor galleries of traditional and modern architecture and sculpture. How many other cities can claim three of the world’s tallest buildings, a river that flows backwards, 29 miles of lakefront including five white sand beaches downtown, over 100 distinct neighbourhoods, and some of the best shopping, museums, restaurants, and attractions anywhere.
